DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

 

The Information Technology Department has multiple Service Desk Analyst openings in the Washington, DC office. The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to the Firm and clients of the Firm. Responsibilities include: Providing end-user support services, troubleshooting assistance, and problem resolution via telephone, remote desktop connection, and/or visits to user locations; exhibiting ownership and timely resolution of all incident tickets and change orders; interacting directly with other IT groups to determine the proper remediation for an issue; setting-up and quality assurance testing of new hardware and software for existing and new end-users in the Firm and other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

 

Minimum of three years of experience in end-user support. Two-year college degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience implementing, maintaining and supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Technical experience configuring and supporting workstations, laptops, printers, and related equipment.

$63,000 - $75,000 depending on experience.

IT PROJECT MANAGER - BG11

The IT Project Manager (ITPM) oversees and ensures the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value. The ITPM supports the project efforts of the IT organization. Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks. Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan. Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Implement project communication plan. Perform risk assessment, and document mitigation plans. Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of the information, while providing consistency in content and “look and feel” across the enterprise. Lead project planning and status meetings. Ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives. Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project personnel. Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within budget.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

 

3 - 5 years experience in technology project management with business unit facing experience. Experience project managing multiple initiatives simultaneously as well as large enterprise projects. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile). Demonstrated experience coordinating a project team and leading project status meetings. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous exposure to a law firm environment a plus. Bachelors Degree required and Project Manager certifications preferred, such as Project Management Institute.

MANAGER OF ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS - BG11

Provide new application solutions to lawyers and staff to enable improved collaboration, productivity, and effectiveness. Manage technology operations to function smoothly and economically with primary emphasis on business effectiveness, availability, stability, and reliability. Oversee workload of staff; develop, mentor, and motivate a team of junior and senior developers with diverse mix of skill sets and experience. Facilitate teamwork with technology personnel from other groups in IT, vendors, and integrators in the delivery of systems and integrated software applications. Monitor industry trends and anticipate changes to how application solutions are implemented and deployed Firm-wide. Prepare input to the annual operating and capital budgets and recommend long-range and annual technology plans. Design application architecture that enhances internal and external collaboration. Develop measures and plans to continuously improve the user experience. Develop and execute project management plans to achieve desired time lines as systems and programs are selected, purchased, installed, and/or further developed. Recommend and implement best practices, processes, and procedures related to all aspects of application development. REQUIRED SKILLS: 

 

7-10 years of experience managing information systems and team of developers, with extensive work in a large Firm setting, a comparable professional services organization, or a legal information services provider. Substantial experience in design and architecture of on-premises SharePoint environments. Strong background leading Document Management System (DMS) support, particularly iManage. Experience with Workday and building/supporting data integrations between Workday and other systems. Experience with cloud ecosystems incorporating Office365, Office2016, Skype for Business, Teams, and mobile devices. Strong background in DirSync, identity management, and Active Directory and ADFS authentication. Demonstrated experience improving the user experience preferably in a professional services firm. Experience applying waterfall and agile methodologies in developing customs solutions as needed. Strong leadership and project management skills required. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required. Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills required. Will work closely with product management and engineering, provide your design perspective to help in ensuring a unified and cohesive experience across the ServiceNow ecosystem. Create user flow diagrams, conceptual wireframes, storyboards, click-through prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to articulate on design direction for our cloud-based applications. Develop high-level task flow content and then use storyboards and other design documents to communicate concepts and vision to others. The Integration Specialist will use a variety of scripting languages and software development tools to configure, customize, integrate, test, and deploy applications and business tools. Testing new versions of business software and patches to ensure their proper operation and integration with existing platforms and software. Troubleshoot all aspects of desktop and application interoperability. Developing installation packages and deployment methods for the Firm’s standard business software including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite, document management, document comparison, and legal document and PDF generation tools. Using Microsoft SCCM to deploy operating systems and applications to all firm workstations. Creating and managing Active Directory Group Policies. Using Powershell and/or VBScript to automate software deployment and configuration. Monitoring service desk ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow) and research/resolve/close user incidents within predefined SLA’s. Providing secondary and tertiary technical support and assistance to IT personnel and users as part of the Firm’s escalation procedures. Creating and updating accurate documentation on applications including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure configuration database is up-to-date. Coordinating with technical staff and users in all offices to incorporate required regional customizations to standard desktop applications.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

 

2 to 3 years’ experience supporting integrated desktop software in a law firm or professional services environment. 2 years’ support experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (2016 and above) and familiarity with document management system. 1 to 2 years’ experience creating and customizing installation packages. 1 to 2 years’ experience creating and managing Microsoft Group Policies. 1 to 2 years’ experience creating and customizing application installation packages to be deployed in a global WAN environment. Should be comfortable providing support for end-user applications. Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Power Shell and VBScript or software development experience (C# .Net). This position will support all financial systems attached to the core accounting functions – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Billing, Collections, Expense Reimbursement as well as reporting. REQUIRED SKILLS:
