LEGAL RECRUITING ASSISTANT - BG11

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

 

The Legal Recruiting Assistant provides administrative support to the Legal Recruiting department. Assists with the organization and implementation of the Summer Associate Program, including but not limited to, tracking pre-arrival information, drafting arrival notices, scheduling orientation sessions and exit interviews, creating nametags, and assisting in the planning of social events and training programs. Assists with all aspects of the on-campus interview process, including, but not limited to, registering for on-campus interview programs, resume collect programs and job fairs, maintaining on-campus interview and candidate files, and scheduling candidates for interviews. Responsible for answering the Recruiting Department main phone line and directing calls as appropriate. Responsible for monitoring the general Legal

Recruiting Outlook email account on a daily basis and fielding emails as appropriate. Assists with organization of lateral associate and judicial clerk candidate applications, including but not

limited to, preparing summaries of candidates for hiring partner review and corresponding with select search firms. Maintains legal recruiting database, viRecruit, and all candidate files. Primary team member for entering all applications into viRecruit. Prepares all department correspondence to potential candidates and incoming legal personnel. Coordinates payments for incoming and lateral associate hires (bar, clerkship, moving/travel expenses), as well as travel expenses for associate and summer associate candidates. Provides direct administrative support to senior team members and performs other duties as assigned.

College degree is required.

$38,000+ depending on experience.

BENEFITS COORDINATOR - BG11

 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: 

Daily administration of all benefits programs with an emphasis on the management and oversight of all leave programs to include Short Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Parental Leave, Workers Compensation and family medical leaves offered to attorneys and staff employees in all US based offices of the firm. Manage leave programs to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulatory requirements and achieve operational consistency. Communicate leave policies and programs to all levels of attorneys and staff employees. Manage all leave claim filing events including the distribution of leave application package and forms, coordination of medical review process and communication of leave status to employee, supervisors and/or managing partners or leave coordinators, and Payroll department. Communicate leave information with all appropriate claim filing entities to facilitate timely and appropriate follow-up. Oversee all leave tracking to include timely status updates and changes to the Human Resources Information System and associated leave tracking systems. Prepare and maintain monthly leave reports for Senior Management. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

5-7 years benefits administration experience required. At least 3 years of leave management experience with multiple state locations desired. Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA and state leave laws desired. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Workday (or similar HRMS software) preferred. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication ability,
strong customer service orientation and ability to work as a part of a team. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

$62,300 + depending on experience.
