TITLE:   Word Processor Specialist                                                    BG90

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:  Provide varied administrative and technical support to Firm personnel including document production and troubleshooting, scanning and coding, processing of electronic filings, proofreading and supplemental support to attorneys.  Will utilize word processing, spreadsheets, flowcharts, presentation, PDF and EDGAR software applications to create, edit, print and format a variety of documents, including highly complex and problematic files; complete basic and intermediate level graphics projects such as case-related exhibits and charts, pitch materials;  will create shells for legal documents and closing CD sets (creating links from the table of contents to individual documents on CD); convert documents from one application to another or from USB devices, thumb drives, CDs or DVDS.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  65 typing, 5 years admin or word processing experience and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite while Conversion Software (2003, 2007 and 2010) is a plus.  Knowledge of graphic and desktop publishing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio or Publisher also needed.

TITLE: Word Processor / document support specialist           BG100

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:  Responsibilities:  Provide excellent customer service; keeps customers  updated on work in progress and completes incoming projects by requested deadlines. Also create, revise  and convert various types of documents  such as court filings, agreements, contracts, leases, letters,  memoranda, pleadings, etc. using Microsoft Office and other tools suck  as Delta View. Also conducts  document quality review procedures  including proofing for accuracy to produce accurate work of the highest  quality in a timely fashion.  As well as perform data entry and data  normalization in  Interaction. Scans materials and  performs document clean up and formatting.  Prepare court filings,  including e-filings, transcribe tapes and more as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  2 years  experience word processing in a law  firm.  Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel needed.  BS/BA degree preferred.  Must type a minimum of 75 wpm.

 TITLE: Word Processor - sleep  late                     BG29

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is for a fairly large patent firm with a chance to learn  and grow. Will be doing complex production typing such as court  filings, pleadings, letters,  contracts, etc. Solve problems and  organize resources to meet the document support needs of the lawyers and staff for all standard software systems and document support.  Conduct  large volume scanning  projects and heavy transcription. This  is a fast paced but fair work environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  2  years word processing experience .in a law firm with patent law  preferred.  Strong skills using  advanced features in MS Office 2000 -  2010, Imaging, Photoshop, and Photo Editor.  Again patent law preferred  as well as a working knowledge of ChemPrint 3.0 .  There is always a  chance to grow  here.

TITLE:  Document Coordinator / Senior Word Processor/ 3 day work week

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Provide  leadership and coordination of Word  Processing services.  Provide solutions to lawyers and staff on the use  of  document support. Coordinate and conduct quality control of the  Word Processing  services. Organize word processing  support, including remote support if required, for emergency office  closures such as weather related events.  Assure full training of all  word processing staff at all  times including document production best practices, introduction of new systems and procedures.  Analyze work  flow for trends to identify problem areas, improve business processes,  make recommendations to  trainers and the supervisor.  .

REQUIRED SKILLS: 4 years word processing experience preferably in a law firm.  Accurate 70 wpm typing skills.  Strong Microsoft Office skills.   College degree preferred.
