TITLE: Legal Secretary/Executive/Personal Assistant BG90
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Will support the partner who is co-chair of the Department and two or three associates. Partner is a dynamic person, soft spoken, friendly who utilizes and relies heavily on her assistant. This partner is on some of the highest committees for the entire firm, very well known and very respected. These attorneys are handling litigation and government enforcement matters. Will be responsible for correspondence, travel arrangements, typing of legal documents or in other words the attorneys legal business but also personal matters during and after business hours.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Solid stable litigation experience needed as well as experience working at a partner level. Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and 65 typing. Must be able to work independently, think on the run and have good communication skills as there will be lots of client contact and visibility. Professional demeanor and appearance also necessary.

SALARY: 65 – 70K

TITLE: U. S. Formalities/Filing Specialist BG133
DESCRIPTION OF
DUTIES:
Prepare documents for attorney review and submission to the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) via the USPTO electronic filing system for new design, utility and U. S. national stage patent application filings. Document preparation includes Inventor Declarations, Assignments, submission of formal drawings, drafting Preliminary Amendments, Information Disclosure Statements and responses to other USPTO formalities requirements. Will also direct client and foreign associate communications, including reporting USPTO communications and actions to clients requiring familiarity with client’s reporting procedures. Responsible for daily monitoring of attorney dockets and compliance with due dates and keeping attorneys and docket support staff apprised.
REQUIRED SKILLS: 2 + years formalities or patent prosecution experience. Knowledge of USPTO Pair and electronic filings procedures.
