TITLE: Automated Practice Support Analyst KG16
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Directly responsible for managing cases for attorneys and paralegals. Provide information and direction regarding case setup, database design, imaging, electronic discovery and other litigation support. Must be able to design and maintain spreadsheets, graphics and presentations. Must be able to import and export databases and image collections. Coordinate with other APS and IS staff including database coordinators, electronic discovery specialists and trial support specialists. Must be able to setup and support hardware required by the legal teams (e.g. trial support). Must be able to develop and maintain instructional material for applications used within the group and provide user training on these applications to members of the group as well as end users. Participate in any projects that the firm may require in order to meet its business goals. Other duties as assigned. Evaluation of new products/applications deemed to be appropriate to the firm’s business. Make recommendations to improve the use of all company desktop applications. Ensure preventative maintenance in your field of expertise is regularly planned and implemented. Work with IS management and staff to integrate and continually evolve operations program/project management methods and practices. As required, participate in the development of RFP/RFI documentation for vendor selection. Communication Participate in a good proactive working relationship between your team and other teams within the IS department and the users. Communicate all downtime, regular preventative maintenance, security patch updates and software upgrades to all relevant teams. Comply with the IS department’s change request system. Assist in development of policies and procedures for processes relevant to this area. Track time and enter time into the accounting system in a timely manner. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Must be client focused with the ability to develop good relationships.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must have 5+ years of working with Microsoft applications and 3+ years of working with litigation support software including Concordance, LiveNote, CaseMap, TimeMap and Sanction. Needs 5 years related work experience preferably in professional partnership with an excellent understanding of the firm’s goals and objectives. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Bachelor’s degree or comparable business experience required.

TITLE: Help Desk Coordinator BG100
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Help desk coordinator will be the working coordinator of the assigned shifts, responsible for organization and service delivery of Help Desk technical and document support services. Solve problems and organize resources to meet the technical support needs of our lawyers and staff for all firms standard software, systems and document support. Maintain timely Help Desk system call tracking. Provide hands on technical support. Troubleshoot remote access issues for users, i.e., VPN/Citrix, Firm laptop troubleshooting and home computers. Answer Help Desk calls, process Help Desk Inbox e-mails and provide solutions for lawyers and staff. Properly forward the ACD and voice mail system during off-hours due to emergencies or inclement weather. Coordinate Help Desk Technical Support staff’s delivery of services during the assigned shift to provide timely, accurate and courteous technical support. Assure full training of all Help Desk Technical Support staff at all times, including introduction of new systems and procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum of 4 years working on a Word Processing/Help Desk or related experience. Previous technical support experience in a law firm environment. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Proven experience working in a time sensitive environment. Availability to work before and after business hours and weekends with little or no notice. Expert knowledge of Office 2003 to Advanced level, particularly as used in a legal environment. Excellent follow through, attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. BS/BA Degree preferred or relevant experience. MOS Certification in Office preferred.
